Dr. Li is a professor of chemistry in the Department of Experimental Diagnostic Imaging at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. His research team is primarily focused on the development of novel imaging probes for noninvasive visualization of molecular events associated with tumor progression and regression.

Education experience
Dr. Li received his doctorate degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University and joined The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in 1993 as a postdoctoral fellow.
