Dr. Rajadhyaksha is an assistant member of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. His current research focuses on the development of a multimodal microscope to probe sources of contrast in skin cancers; the design of a hand-held, low-cost confocal theta line-scanner for clinical/surgical utility; and the creation of intraoperative imaging techniques to guide Mohs micrographic surgery of skin cancers.
Education and experience
Dr. Rajadhyaksha completed his undergraduate studies in mechanical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India and his doctorate in Mechanical & Optical Engineering from Purdue University in 1991. He also has a joint appointment in the Dermatology Service, Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York.
